Are you or someone you know struggling with their grief in the wake of the death of a loved one?
Philippi Christian Church will offer this thirteen-week program starting Saturday, February 3, at 10 a.m., and will continue on Saturdays through the Spring. It will be lead by the Rev. Nell Bagby-Robinson, with assistance from trained lay leaders, all of whom have experienced a significant loss of their own, and found their way through the practice of their faith.
Each week, a short video created by pastoral counseling professionals on various aspects of the grief journey will be presented, followed by guided conversation among participants. A workbook will be given to each so that work can continue between sessions. Each session will last about an hour and a half.
Registration costs only $15.00, to cover the cost of materials, and scholarships are available. Child care can also be provided if needed.
